TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews

Timothy Chan | Cal State Northridge Before TestMasters 148 After TestMasters 163

“My score after the initial diagnostic test was 148. Needless to say, I was pretty discouraged. However, after putting the work in and doing almost every single problem in the curriculum, I was able to score a 163 on test day! My instructor, Jeff Benjamin, contributed greatly to my success and 15-point increase. He asked the right questions that helped the students find the logical answer for themselves, and I believe that this extra assistance was invaluable for scoring well on the LSAT. If I had to start over from the beginning, I would sign up and take TestMasters again without any hesitation. Thank you Testmasters and Jeff!”

Kristine Nikoghosyan | UCLA Before TestMasters 150 After TestMasters 166

“When I started ‘shopping’ for an LSAT prep course, I initially thought that I would sign up for Kaplan. The only reason for that was the fact that Kaplan has flooded every website and undergraduate school with advertisements and every bookstore with Kaplan books. So Kaplan was practically the only company that I had heard of before I started doing some research.

However, once I did some internet research and talked to other students, the dissatisfaction that people had experienced after taking courses offered by Kaplan became evident. In the meantime, everyone I talked to recommended that I take a TestMasters course. I did, and I could not have been happier with my choice.

The TestMasters course that I took was well structured with effective in-class instruction and in-depth homework assignments. The diagnostic tests were also invaluable since they helped me become comfortable with the LSAT by approximating the real test conditions as closely as possible. In addition, there were many extra workshops that were taught by Robin Singh, which I found to be extremely helpful. Robin, in fact, was very approachable and helpful, and it was obvious that he personally cared about each and every student enrolled not only in the section that he was teaching but also every other TestMasters course section.

Another point that is worth mentioning is the fact that TestMasters instructors are the best. They have all scored in the 98th or 99th percentiles on real LSAT administrations and are highly qualified to teach. My teacher, with his caring personality and many years of teaching experience, was proof of the fact that TestMasters has the best instructors.

Therefore, I would highly recommend TestMasters to everyone; TestMasters is the way to go if you want to get a high LSAT score and in the meantime enjoy the process of studying for the LSAT.”

Shelby Lamb | UC Santa Barbara Before TestMasters 153 After TestMasters 170

“If someone had told me I would end up scoring a 170 on my actual LSAT after my first practice test score of 153, I would have told them they were crazy. Thanks to TestMasters, that is exactly what I did, and now the opportunities that are available to me are as exciting as they are numerous. I know from experience that TestMasters is not only the best prep course around, but that it will help you reach goals you didn’t even realize were possible. I will be forever grateful to my wonderful instructor for how much effort she put into making sure we understood the logic behind and techniques used for every type of question you will come across on the LSAT. She really taught us how to think like the authors of the questions, so that we could anticipate all of the tricks they try to throw at test-takers. I was so intimidated by the Logical Reasoning section before the course, and by the end of my time with TestMasters I was thoroughly enjoying how easy it was to beat the questions using Robin Singh’s techniques. The proctored practice tests were also an absolute help come test day. I felt absolutely ready to compete and put all my new knowledge to work. I literally walked into (and out of) the test with a smirk on my face because I knew I had an edge over all the people there that did not take the TestMasters course. The wealth of knowledge and confidence that TestMasters gave me was worth every penny and then some. I cannot thank TestMasters enough.”

Eric Westlund | Pepperdine University Before TestMasters 152 After TestMasters 172

“When I signed up for the LSAT the first time, I decided not to bother with any extensive preparation. A track record of success on standardized tests convinced me it was not necessary. It wasn’t until the week before the test, when I finally decided to open a prep book, that I realized I was in over my head. I realized the LSAT isn’t something you can just walk into and succeed. Whether your maximum potential is around 160 or there’s a 175+ in you waiting to emerge, I believe the following to be universally true: For anyone who is serious about applying to law school, extensive guided preparation is as indispensable a part of the process as an undergraduate degree.

When I found out I scored a 152, I knew it wouldn’t be the last time I would sit for an LSAT administration. I was serious about applying to law school, but I knew I was nowhere near my potential. I graduated college a few months later, and I decided to devote my entire summer to doing the LSAT right. I didn’t do much research in selecting TestMasters; I read a brief article on the internet about the quality of their instructors and was sold.

Anyone who visits the TestMasters website can see that developer Robin Singh is the best LSAT taker in the world and that the company’s instructors all scored in the 98th percentile or better. Due to conflicts in my personal schedule, however, I had the unique opportunity to receive in-class instruction from four different TestMasters instructors. While their personal styles differed, what was always immediately apparent was the superb quality of the training these instructors receive. They are able to express the material with impressive clarity and precision; they are able to answer questions quickly and effectively and cater the lessons simultaneously to students of all levels; and their dedication to their students’ success is evident from their willingness to give personalized advice after class.

During the summer, I kept up with the lessons, took numerous diagnostic tests, and made use of online resources such as the definitions quiz. There is also a support service students can use to get personal assistance on their homework from actual TestMasters instructors. When I retook the LSAT that fall, I scored a 172. I am currently applying to 16 of the top 20 law schools in country, and I’m finally pursuing my dream that seemed out of reach just ten months ago. Whether you have no experience with the LSAT whatsoever or you have already begun studying and identifying your weaknesses, I wholeheartedly recommend TestMasters to anyone whose LSAT score is critical to their goals and aspirations.”
