TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews

Shana Khader | Occidental College Before TestMasters 162 After TestMasters 176

“When I told family and friends that I was studying for the LSAT, I was consistently met with the response: ‘Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll do fine.’ I knew this was true, but I didn’t want to do just fine on the LSAT. I believe that the TestMasters course truly maximized my potential and helped me get a great score that I can be proud of and that reflects my abilities. My instructor was excellent. Her teaching was thorough and clear, and she was patient and responsive to questions. When taking the test, I found that the methods we had learned in class had become second nature to me. Through TestMasters, I learned and internalized a set of skills that helped me gain the confidence and speed I needed to score consistently and to score well on the LSAT.”

Bryan Redfern | UC Berkeley Before TestMasters 157 After TestMasters 170

“Having always been skeptical of test prep companies, I decided to start preparing for the LSAT on my own. After a few weeks of haphazardly working through sample questions, I realized I was making little progress. Hesitantly, I followed a friend’s recommendation and signed up for TestMasters. Within fifteen minutes of the first lesson I knew I had made the right decision. TestMasters does not rely on tricks or shortcuts; instead the class is structured around increasing your understanding of the concepts that underlie the questions. The LSAT is a skills-based test, and TestMasters teaches you what skills are tested, how to identify what’s being tested, and how to use your skills to get the correct answer. As your understanding of the LSAT increases, so does your score. My instructor was excellent. Not only did he have an incredible understanding of the material, he was also a great teacher who was able to effectively convey information in an understandable way. In addition, his enthusiasm for the test made class exciting and studying enjoyable. With TestMasters you have access to resources you would not have otherwise. Although the course requires an extreme amount of work and dedication, if you put in the effort you will walk in on test day knowing that you are as prepared as you could possibly be.”

Grace Hwang | USC Before TestMasters 157 After TestMasters 173

“When I first began looking into preparing for the LSAT, I purchased a couple books from the bookstore to see how I would fare doing self-prep. After three months of confusion and frustration, specifically in the logical reasoning section, I decided to turn to a prep course. It was not that I did not have the motivation to study practice problems for hours; it was that I did not understand the reasoning behind the questions I got wrong. So I turned to TestMasters. The course in no way is a magical wand that will automatically turn you into an LSAT genius, but it does provide you with all the tools you need to fully reach your potential. The four-hour classes, although grueling, definitely increased my endurance. The methodical approach of my instructor forced me to test my reasoning behind each and every question. The homework gave me the exposure I needed to real test questions. With TestMasters, I had online explanations at the tip of my fingers to help me understand why I got any question wrong. Taking the course while enrolled full-time at school was tiring, but I would not have had it any other way. TestMasters has helped me reach a score that exceeded my expectations and given me the confidence to apply to my dream law school.”

Annaka Abramson | UCLA Before TestMasters 152 After TestMasters 164

“I cannot say enough great things about TestMasters. What sold me on TestMasters is that all of the material comes from previously administered LSAT tests. I felt confident on test day that I knew what the questions would be like, and how to answer them. Another great thing is that help is always available. There are lots of online resources as well as personalized assistance outside of class you can access any time you have questions. The bottom line is that TestMasters is the best prep class out there, I’d recommend it to anyone.”
