TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews

Emma Fleming | Arizona State Before TestMasters 161 After TestMasters 171

“I took a TestMasters class in preparation for the February LSAT. I did not use any materials except those provided by TestMasters and I was thrilled to achieve a 171 on my LSAT, one point higher than my target score. I wholeheartedly recommend TestMasters and believe their program was instrumental to my success.

TestMasters provides students with in-class work, homework, and practice LSATs to prepare you for the actual test. The instructor who taught my class was fantastic. She helped each class member understand every example in the materials. For homework, TestMasters provides thousands of LSAT questions that are all divided into ‘question types’, so if I was ever struggling with a certain kind of question I could easily find and practice similar questions. TestMasters also provides an academic support service where their instructors will explain any question you might have between class sessions. The practice tests were very helpful in that they taught me how to persevere through a lengthy exam, and I could track my progress through their detailed score reports.

Another thing I like about TestMasters in particular is that they do not stray from the questions that have appeared on the LSAT, whereas some other companies try to write their own cute and funny LSAT-like questions. I feel like the best preparation for the LSAT is studying questions from the LSAT itself.

The LSAT is such an important step for anyone considering law school and if you would like to take the LSAT you should do it right. I can’t imagine any program being better suited toward this end than TestMasters.”

Aisha Alcaraz Lowden | Arizona State Before TestMasters 134 After TestMasters 156

“Taking TestMasters was a great experience. My instructor Dorothy Moneymaker went beyond teaching just the methodologies that make you successful on the LSAT. She made the class a fun environment to learn in, and truly cared about my experience by making my improvement her number one priority. After the first diagnostic test, I thought there was no hope for me, but she found my weak spots and encouraged me to keep trying. With determination and dedication to the lessons and homeworks you will see an improvement in your score. The payout of a 22-point improvement from all of the hard work I put in was totally worth it!”

Krystal Jenkins | University of Arizona Before TestMasters 146 After TestMasters 163

“When I first decided to apply to law school I figured the LSAT would be easy for me since I had always been relatively good at standardized tests. Regardless, someone convinced me to sign up for a prep course, and man am I thankful I did. My first diagnostic score was a 146, much lower than I had anticipated, but in just two months TestMasters helped me increase that score an amazing 17 points to a 163. Without the TestMasters class and my instructor I can honestly say I wouldn’t have done nearly as well on the LSAT. TestMasters teaches you methods that make answering logical reasoning and reading comp questions a breeze, and by the end of the course the test seemed more like fun than work. Not only does this course help you to get the right answers, it also helps you to understand the wrong choices and the reasoning behind them, which was often times more helpful than just getting the right answer. The instructors are beyond helpful and extremely knowledgeable without being intimidating. I felt as though I could ask my instructor anything without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. I have no doubt that if you are willing to put the effort in and work hard TestMasters will do wonders for your LSAT score.”

Daniel Rollingher | Arizona State Before TestMasters 165 After TestMasters 174

“I took three practice LSATs on my own before considering TestMasters and scored in the 160s each time. I realized that while I already had a good understanding of the test, there were many different types of questions that I could encounter, and I wanted more security and consistency in my score. TestMasters provided a solid curriculum and strong teacher that enabled me to gain the confidence I needed. I then took the real test and scored a 174. Thank you for the help!”
