“After taking the TestMasters course, my view of the LSAT changed entirely. Instead of approaching it like any other test, I started to view it as a math problem, as something formulaic, where you need to know the formulas and techniques and how to apply them. My instructor Leigh-Ann Campbell taught me the language of the LSAT, which is the most important aspect, in my opinion. Without it, you would easily be lost and have no clue what the test writers are truly asking or looking for, because the way the LSAT uses language is not the same as how we use it colloquially or how we would expect it to be used on a typical test. She taught me how to identify each different problem type, and along with the question bank, drills, and other online resources through TestMasters, I learned how to approach and successfully ‘solve’ each problem, or at the very least, eliminate everything that was not the answer.

It was very fun to be in that mindset and to seek out fallacies in my day-to-day life. I would say my biggest takeaway is that the TestMasters course teaches you how to approach the test, the language of the test, and almost the peculiar culture and mindset behind it, what the test writers are looking for and their objective in each question. The language component is the most important. It feels like you are literally learning a different and very deliberate form of English that we just do not use or think about in our colloquial speech and day-to-day life. Leigh-Ann did a great job of teaching that language and training us to recognize the flags in each question and stimulus, as well as the different approaches required for each question type.”
