The PSAT is only offered on two days in October. Since the PSAT is administered by high schools, you must sign up for the test at your high school or at another high school in your community that offers the test. Online registration is not available for the PSAT. Please note that each high school chooses only one October test date.
Test dates for the 2012 PSAT have not yet been announced. Continue to check this site, or visit the College Board website (http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/psat/reg.html) for more information. Be sure to contact an administrator or counselor at the school where you plan to take the test well in advance of October (June is recommended) to be sure that you are able to register for the test.
Students who wish to be considered for National Merit Scholarship awards must take the PSAT during their junior year of high school.
