Frequently Asked Questions

If I missed a class at a Coeburn location, can I make up classes elsewhere?

TestMasters allows students in a Coeburn LSAT course to attend individual classes at an alternate location or transfer to a new location permanently during the same term. To attend an individual class, students must log in to the Online Resource Center and print an audit pass for that lesson. Students wishing to transfer locations permanently can do so at no additional charge by contacting the TestMasters offices to request a space in a new location.

How can I sign up for a Coeburn LSAT course?

It is convenient for students to register for a TestMasters LSAT course by making either a $100 down payment or completing their tuition payment in-person, online, or over the phone. TestMasters can take Visa, MasterCard, and Discover debit or credit card payments online or over the phone up until 7 days prior to the first class meeting. Check and money orders submitted at least 10 days prior to the first LSAT class meeting can also be accepted. Please note that students must complete their enrollment at least one week prior to the first class meeting or they will incur a $50 late registration fee.

If I’m taking a Coeburn LSAT course with TestMasters and I'm stuck on a homework problem, how can I get help?

Students with questions outside of class can contact our Academic Assistance department to get their questions answered.

If I have a scheduling conflict with a Coeburn diagnostic exam, can I take the diagnostic at a later time?

In the event that you cannot attend a proctored diagnostic exam you can make it up by auditing the exam at a different location or by taking it on your own. The test will be available in your packet of diagnostics shipped to you at the beginning of your course. You should self-administer the exam under actual testing conditions then submit your answers in the Online Resource Center. You may also audit the diagnostic with a different class by selecting and printing an audit pass on your Online Resource Center.

Should I do any LSAT studying before my Coeburn TestMasters class begins?

It is not in your best interest to do any LSAT prep before enrolling in the TestMasters LSAT course. Our classes are designed to introduce you to the best LSAT preparation strategies available, and students who study on their own are in danger of learning techniques that are inconsistent with the TestMasters methodology. Students who enroll in the TestMasters course can avoid having to unlearn other LSAT studying techniques by avoiding doing any LSAT preparation before the course begins.

Is tutoring available in Coeburn?

Tutoring is available in any city where a TestMasters live LSAT course is offered. We sometimes do have tutors available in other cities, but tutoring availability is not guaranteed for those locations. Do I have to complete my payments before attending the first meeting of a Coeburn TestMasters LSAT class?

Students can pay $100 in order to hold a spot in the TestMasters LSAT preparation course. After they have made the deposit, students can pay down the balance of their tuition in any number of installments. The entire LSAT course tuition must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the first class meeting.

Is the LSAT a requirement for law school?

The Law School Admission Test measures a student’s ability to read carefully and reason critically. As admissions to law school have become more competitive, the LSAT serves as a common denominator by which all candidates can be evaluated equally. The LSAT is a half-day exam, and is only administered four times in any calendar year.

Is it advisable to take the LSAT immediately following my course?

Generally, TestMasters advises students to take the Law School Admission Test when they are satisfied with their practice LSAT test scores. When applying to schools with rolling admissions, students should keep in mind that applications are prioritized by when they are received.
