| Description |
TestMasters seeks talented and highly motivated
individuals to teach the TestMasters LSAT Course at various locations
in the United States and abroad. Instructors can teach anywhere from one to four courses
for each LSAT administration, depending upon the course locations and
time of year. Instructors may also be given opportunities to tutor students
outside of class, to teach intensive weekend seminars, and to make presentations
about the TestMasters LSAT Course to prospective students. |
| Responsibilities |
The TestMasters LSAT Course contains eighty hours
of live, in-class lecture. Instructors are responsible for teaching anywhere
from sixty to all eighty lecture hours of the course, and instructors
must arrive thirty minutes before the start of each class for question
and answer sessions. In addition, instructors are required to work at
least one three-hour shift per month on the TestMasters Student Helpline
during any period that they are teaching classes. |
| Qualifications |
Instructor candidates must have scored in the 98th
percentile or above (171 or higher on the current scale) on an actual LSAT administered by the Law School Admission
Council. There are no exceptions to this requirement. Furthermore, instructor
candidates must have a passion for teaching and the ability to convey
LSAT concepts to students effectively. A great LSAT score is necessary
but not sufficient for becoming an LSAT instructor at TestMasters. |
