What is the tuition for the TestMasters GMAT Course?
The course tuition is $1250. This covers all of the course materials, including
the twenty coursebooks and seven computer-adaptive diagnostic tests. Students are
welcome to write in the coursebooks and may keep all of the materials to study once
the course is over. The tuition for the weekend course is $350.
How do I register for the TestMasters GMAT Course?
To reserve a spot in one of our GMAT courses, you must either pay the tuition in
full or make a down payment of at least $100. You can
register online for any of our GMAT courses. If you choose to make a down
payment, you must pay the remainder of the tuition at least one week prior to the
first class meeting. TestMasters accepts the following forms of payment: checks,
money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Please note that TestMasters only
accepts personal checks that are received at least ten business days prior to the
first class meeting. If you complete your enrollment less than one week before the
first class meeting, you will be charged a $50 late registration fee.
What is the TestMasters refund policy?
If you wish to cancel your enrollment for one of our GMAT courses, you must submit
a written cancellation request to TestMasters. Your tuition payment is refundable
if and only if you notify TestMasters in writing of your intent to withdraw at least
ten business days prior to the start date of your specified course. Tuition refunds
are processed and either credited or mailed within ten business days.
What materials do I receive when I enroll in the course?
The materials for the TestMasters GMAT Course include twenty coursebooks, each of
which contains a lesson section that the instructor covers in class and a homework
section that is based upon the concepts taught in the lesson. The coursebooks incorporate
all of the real GMAT questions that the Graduate Management Admission Council has
released, including all of those in The Official Guide for GMAT Review. Students
also receive two CD-ROMs that contain a combined seven computer-adaptive GMAT diagnostics.
One CD-ROM consists of the GMAT POWERPREP software, which contains the only two
GMAT CATs released by the Graduate Management Admission Council. The other CD-ROM
contains five additional computer-adaptive practice tests.
How do I receive my course materials?
If you pay the tuition in full and if TestMasters receives your signed student enrollment
agreement at least one week prior to the first class meeting, your course materials
will be shipped free of charge approximately one week before the start of the course.
Otherwise, you will be charged a $50 late registration fee. Please note that a signature
is required for delivery of the shipment.
In lieu of shipment, TM reserves the right to distribute materials at each lesson.
Will I have the opportunity to ask my TestMasters instructor questions?
Of course. TestMasters instructors arrive thirty minutes before the start of each
of the fifteen lessons to answer questions from the previous lesson's homework.
Students are also given opportunities to ask questions during the three-hour lesson.
How do I access the TestMasters Online Resource Center?
When you enroll in the course, we will send you a confirmation letter that includes
your unique user ID number. Once you have received this number, you can visit the
Online Resource Center
on our website and register as an online user. Registering will enable you to create
your own password. Once you have registered, you can access the Online Resource
Center by entering your ID number and password in the member login area, which is
located in the upper right-hand corner of the home page.
Should I prepare on my own before taking the TestMasters course?
Definitely not. Previewing the coursebook or attempting to do GMAT problems in the
coursebook before attending the corresponding lesson is counterproductive for a
number of reasons. In each lesson your instructor will introduce and discuss at
length important concepts, strategies, and techniques that you must learn to apply
to the GMAT problems in the coursebook. Students who attempt to do GMAT problems
without the benefit of this information often develop bad habits and must spend
precious time and energy breaking these habits before they are able to apply the
proper techniques. In addition, our method of teaching involves challenging students
with new material in class. This critical element of the course is lost if you have
already worked through the material on your own.
What should I bring with me to class?
Always make sure that you have something to write with. In addition, you must bring
the appropriate coursebook to each of the twenty lessons. It is important not to
forget your coursebook because TestMasters instructors usually bring only one or
two extra coursebooks for students to borrow. If you are attending the 30-minute
question-and-answer session before class, you should also bring the coursebook from
the previous lesson.
Can I transfer to another location in the middle of the course?
Yes. If you would like to attend a single class at an alternate location, you may
log into the Online Resource Center of our website and print out an audit pass,
which you must present to the instructor when you arrive at the class site. If you
would like to switch locations permanently, you may do so at no additional charge,
as long as there is space available at the new location. If you decide that you
would like to transfer from one class to another, please contact us immediately
so that we can reserve a space for you at the new location.
