England students interested in enrolling in a traditional in person LSAT course can choose to take our full-length Live LSAT Course at select locations within Arkansas. If I relocate from England to a different city, am I able to transfer classes?

If you are registered for the England TestMasters LSAT course location and you need to attend a lesson in a different location, you can log in to the Online Resource Center to obtain audit passes for upcoming LSAT classes in alternate locations. If you need to switch locations permanently, you can do so as long as space is available in the new LSAT class location. If you would like to transfer classes, you should contact TestMasters immediately so we can reserve you a space in the new LSAT class location you prefer.

What are the different ways that I can register for the England TestMasters LSAT Course?

Students can register for a TestMasters LSAT prep course online, over the phone, or in the TestMasters office. Students paying with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover debit or credit card can enroll with at least a $100 deposit online, over the phone, or by submitting their payment information on their submitted student enrollment agreement. Students paying with check or money order can mail their payment along with their student enrollment agreement to the TestMasters offices. All personal checks must be received no later than 10 days prior to the first class meeting. All other methods of payment can be made up until 7 days prior to the first LSAT class meeting.

What do I do if I enroll in the England TestMasters course and I have questions about the assigned homework?

If a student has academic questions about the TestMasters LSAT prep materials they can call our dedicated Student Helpline anytime between the hours of 1 PM and 4 PM Eastern (10 AM and 1 PM Pacific), Monday through Friday. The helpline provides students with an opportunity to speak with an actual TestMasters instructor about their LSAT study questions while they work on the course materials out of class. In-class, students can certainly ask questions and can arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of their course to ask their instructor questions about the previous lesson’s homework.

Do I receive course books with the England full-length TestMasters LSAT course?

The England Weekend LSAT Course includes 1 course text books with over 1300 real LSAT questions and 10 supplemental diagnostic exams, and access to the Online Resource Center comprehensive diagnostic score reports. All four of the weekend lessons are included in the text book and students can score their supplemental diagnostic exams after the conclusion of their course via the Online Resource Center.

Am I able to make up one of my scheduled England diagnostic exams?

Students can make up diagnostic tests on their own or they can audit the exam with another class. Each proctored exam is made available online on the day that a student’s class is scheduled to take it. If a student would like to take the test earlier they can request to have the exam released sooner. Also, if there is another date and location that a student can audit, they may print out a corresponding audit pass for the proctored exam from their Online Resource Center.

I want to take the England TestMasters class. Is it a good idea to do LSAT test preparation before enrolling?

Students planning to take the TestMasters course should not do any LSAT prep on their own beforehand. Because the TestMasters LSAT preparation material are comprehensive and proven effective, any LSAT studying done prior to taking the TestMasters course may cause students to develop inferior study habits. In addition, TestMasters lessons often challenge students with LSAT material to help them learn various concepts, and students who take LSAT courses or LSAT practice tests before their TestMasters course begins will have already been exposed to that material and may therefore not be able to learn as much from it.

Are there England TestMasters tutors?

TestMasters LSAT tutors are available for in-person tutoring in locations where we hold classes. Sometimes we can accommodate LSAT tutoring requests in other cities, but LSAT private tutoring is dependent on instructor availability. Alternatively, students can work one-on-one with a TestMasters LSAT tutor in any location they happen to be through our telephonic tutoring service.

Can I pay for my TestMasters England LSAT preparation course in installments?

In order to save their spot in a TestMasters LSAT prep course, students must make at least a $100 deposit. After making the initial down payment, students can pay their remaining balance in any number of installments up until one week prior to the first class meeting. In order to attend any LSAT preparation classes or receive the TestMasters lsat prep books, students must pay their tuition in full and submit a signed copy of the student enrollment agreement by the registration deadline.

Do I need to take the LSAT?

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a four hour, standardized test that is comprised of 2 logical reasoning, 1 logic games, 1 reading comprehension, and 1 experimental section. The LSAT gauges a student’s acquired reading and critical reasoning skills, and provides a standard measure by which law schools can evaluate applicants.

Once I complete the TestMasters LSAT preparation course, should I take the LSAT right away?

TestMasters typically recommends that students take the Law School Admission Test soon after preparing for it as long as they feel ready to do so because the study strategies are still at the forefront of students’ minds at this point. If students are not yet consistently reaching scores on their practice LSATs that they would be happy with on the actual test, however, it might be worth waiting and studying for the LSAT longer. All students should consider whether the schools they are applying to have rolling admissions when determining the best time to take the test and send in applications.

What makes the full-length LSAT course different from the weekend course?

The TestMasters weekend course provides students with an overview of the highest level points from the full-length course taught by a TestMasters instructor on a weekend shortly before the weekend of the LSAT administration. The weekend class is a sixteen hour class as opposed to the full-length class, which is eighty hours. Although the full-length course is more comprehensive, the weekend class is a good alternative for people who are not able to take the full-length course or who have already completed their LSAT study but would like a bit of review before the test.

When is the LSAT offered?

February, June, September/October, and December are the four times yearly that the Law School Admission Council administers the LSAT.

If I work with a TestMasters private tutor, can I bring my own LSAT prep materials?

TestMasters only prepares students using official LSAT prep questions released from the LSAC. Students cannot use simulated LSAT questions or materials developed by other LSAT test prep courses in their tutoring sessions. Students are allowed to purchase LSAT PrepTests directly from the LSAC, or TestMasters course materials for use in their tutoring sessions.

How can my TestMasters instructor give me assistance with meeting my LSAT preparation goals?

One-on-one tutoring with a TestMasters LSAT tutor provides students with personal assistance on any LSAT prep questions—general or specific—that students struggle with. If students would like their private tutoring sessions to focus on a few problem areas they have, our tutors will readily assist them. If, on the other hand, students prefer to work through the core concepts on the LSAT in more detail, our tutors are well qualified to do so. Many students want their private tutor to diagnose their weaknesses and help them to eliminate those weaknesses throughout the course of their LSAT study. When applying to law school, how much does my LSAT score matter?

Although there are some exceptions to the rule, the vast majority of the time the score a student receives on the Law School Admission Test will determine more than any other individual factor where that student will be admitted to law school. Law schools also consider the undergraduate GPA to a degree, but it usually is far less critical than a student’s LSAT score. Since the skills that the LSAT is designed to test are learnable, LSAT preparation is a critical aspect of ensuring that students are as competitive as possible in the law school admission process.

Does TestMasters provide a detailed breakdown of my LSAT prep tests?

Any score reports from proctored or supplemental LSAT preptests through TestMasters can be viewed in the Online Resource Center. Once TestMasters has scored the proctored diagnostics, score reports will be made available online. This process will be completed by 9AM the day after the test was proctored. Supplemental score reports are also viewable online, and these can be reviewed and printed immediately after students score them in the Online Resource Center. TestMasters recommends that students print their proctored diagnostic score reports with them when attending a diagnostic review session.
