What is the Law School Admission Test?

The LSAT is a standardized law school entrance exam that is administered over approximately 4 hours. The test is broken down into five 35-minute multiple-choice sections: 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 unscored section containing experimental questions. Test takers are also given 35 minutes to produce a writing sample which may be considered by law schools during the application process.

How many Law School Admission Test administrations are there each year?

The Law School Admission Council schedules four LSAT test administrations each year for the months of February, June, September/October, and December.

Where can I take the Law School Admission Test?

A list of all published LSAT test centers can be downloaded from the testing locations page on the LSAC website. Look for the location closest to you. Please note that some test centers may not be open for every test date.
