What does the Law School Admission Test consist of?

The LSAT is a standardized law school entrance exam that consists of five 35-minute multiple-choice sections: 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 unscored experimental section. In addition to the multiple-choice sections, a 35-minute writing sample section is administered at the end of the exam.

Is the Law School Admission Test administered multiple times per year?

Students can take the LSAT on any of the four annual test dates scheduled by the Law School Admission Council. The test is given in February, June, September/October, and December.

Where is the Law School Admission Test administered?

You can download the complete list of published LSAT test centers by visiting the testing locations page on the LSAC website. There you’ll be able to look up the test centers closest to you. Please note that some test centers may not be open for every test date.
