The LSAT is a five-section, multiple-choice exam that consists of 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 ungraded experimental section. In addition to the multiple-choice sections, there is a written portion of the exam called the writing sample. For each of the sections and the writing sample, examinees are given a time limit of 35 minutes to complete their work.
The LSAT is administered four times a year; students have the option of taking the February LSAT, June LSAT, September/October LSAT, or December LSAT.
