What is on the Law School Admission Test?

The LSAT is a standardized graduate entrance exam required for all students applying to law school. The test consists of 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, 1 ungraded experimental section, and an essay called the writing sample. Test takers have 35 minutes to complete each section.

In which months is the LSAT offered?

The LSAT is offered 4 times each year as scheduled by the Law School Admission Council. The test is administered in February, June, September/October, and December.

Where can I take the Law School Admission Test?

You can download the complete list of published LSAT test centers by visiting the testing locations page on the LSAC website. There you’ll be able to look up the test centers closest to you. Please note that the LSAT is not administered on every test date at every testing location.
