What are the different sections that appear on the LSAT?

The LSAT is a standardized law school entrance exam that is administered over approximately 4 hours. The test is broken down into five 35-minute multiple-choice sections: 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 unscored section containing experimental questions. Test takers are also given 35 minutes to produce a writing sample which may be considered by law schools during the application process.

Is the Law School Admission Test offered year-round?

Each year the LSAC schedules the Law School Admission Test for specific dates in February, June, September/October, and December.

At what locations is the Law School Admission Test administered?

You can download the complete list of published LSAT test centers by visiting the testing locations page on the LSAC website. There you’ll be able to look up the test centers closest to you. Please note that some test centers are not available for every LSAT administration.
