How many sections are on the Law School Admission Test?

The LSAT is a half-day standardized test that is comprised of 5 multiple-choice sections and 1 essay section called the writing sample. Test takers are given 35 minutes per section. The multiple-choice sections include 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 ungraded section with experimental questions.

Is the Law School Admission Test offered multiple times per year?

The Law School Admission Council offers the LSAT four times per year: in February, June, September/October, and December.

Where is the Law School Admission Test administered?

You can download the complete list of published LSAT test centers by visiting the testing locations page on the LSAC website. There you’ll be able to look up the test centers closest to you. Please note that the LSAT is not administered at every test center on all testing dates.
