How many different sections are on the LSAT?

The LSAT is a five-section, multiple-choice exam that consists of 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 ungraded experimental section. In addition to the multiple-choice sections, there is a written portion of the exam called the writing sample. For each of the sections and the writing sample, examinees are given a time limit of 35 minutes to complete their work.

How many times each year is the Law School Admission Test administered?

The LSAT is offered 4 times each year as scheduled by the Law School Admission Council. The test is administered in February, June, September/October, and December.

Where does the LSAC administer the Law School Admission Test?

A list of all published LSAT test centers can be downloaded from the testing locations page on the LSAC website. Look for the location closest to you. Please note that the LSAT is not administered at every test center on all testing dates.
